I brought the kids to North Point to catch the Sesame Street show last week. Gabby & Caelan enjoyed the show totally, while Mummy was busy caturing shots of the show. Surprisingly Caelan was able to sit through the show, with eyes fixed on the stage and the mouth busy 'chewing' the baby carrier. ;P
Personally, I was quite amazed by the above magic show. Guessed the kids must have too. =)
Brought Gabby and Caelan to catch the 7pm Barney show at United Square. Had an early dinner and wanted to start queueing at around 6plus. By the time we finished dinner, the queue for the show has gone almost one round around the compound. Managed to get into the sitting area as the area is quite big taking into consideration that there's only 2 shows during the weekdays which explains the crowd.
All kids were given a hand-out which includes 2 song lyrics, a colouring page and a paper crown. Gabby enjoyed the show, on her feet dancing almost throughout the show while Caelan was trying hard to catch the happenings on the stage, looking through in between the kids in front of him. =)
We went jogging with 婆婆 last week @ Bishan stadium. Wanted to take more photos but was stopped by the i/c as apparently the public can't take photos without the permission from the management.
Gabby jogged 1.5 rounds around the stadium, came back and tell me she's hungry. So she happily sat at the bench enjoying the dinner that 姨姨 had cooked and brought for her while Raenen continued with his jog =) Well, mummy was sitting at the bench looking after the 2 little boys and the bags. Lazy me ;P
Caelan has his teeth edged out from his lower gums around 2 weeks ago. Initially can only feel the sharp edge, now about 1/3 of his teeth is out and is 2 teeth at the same time. Hip Hip Hooray!! Now he's ever more going to put things into his mouth =P Way to go Caelan...
We went to Takashimaya to catch the Hi-5 show, queued 1 hour before the show time and Gabby got to sit quite near to the stage. She was very excited but got abit bored with all the waiting, in the queue and sitting area.
When the Hi-5 team came out, she was all excited, but realised that she has moved to the back (reckon she's a little scared =P) She tried to follow some simple dance moves that are taught by Hi-5 during the interval of each song but think she can't really keep up with the music =)
Gabby wanted so we queued to take picture with the Hi-5 at the end of the show. And she was great, sat on Tim's lap and took a picture smiling =) [PS: Don't ask me why I bended my knees, I wonder why too!]
She has enjoyed the show very much, even telling me that she wants 阿公and 婆婆 to bring her to the show again. BTW, Caelan slept through the show & photo-taking, wonder how he can do it with the loud music and singing.
I brought Gabby to Forum last week to catch the puppet show on The Green Sheep, didn't know that tickets will be issued. Ended up missed the last ticket that was being issued. But I decided to wait in the queue, hoping that there'll be enough space to squeeze Gabby and myself (plus another 6 people in front of us) to sit in the 'sheep pen' to watch the show.
Thank God we were able to go in plus 1 more family behind us and we got to enjoy the puppet show sitting in the sheep pen =) The show was quite nice, interactive and fun to be in. It was based on the book by Mem Fox which I actually saw it in Borders earlier.
Rain Sheep
Gabby enjoyed herself totally and definitely enjoyed the story-telling thereafter the show. One thing, she's scared of the Green sheep and dared not touch/pat the sheep. On the whole, it was a nice experience for Gabby, different from the shows that she usually watches.
